Can I sign up as an individual?

Yes, we now allow individuals to sign up for NEMO. Previously, we only allowed sign ups from employees of partner organizations.

What if my employer signs on while I’m already a member?

Congratulations! If your employer signs up to pay for NEMO on your behalf, we will reimburse any Membership fees you paid the previous 6 months. Why? We believe employers should financially support your bike commute and we want your help to convince them.

Can I get service at home?

Yes, assuming its within our service area.

Does Membership cover everything?

Membership covers all the mechanic labor needed for 2 bicycles. If your bike needs new parts (e.g. new tire, chain, brake pads, etc.) then you will be charged separately for those at the time of the repair. If you'd like a dedicated full-overhaul of your bike then see below how we handle tune-up requests.

Why does NEMO go through my employer?

We believe your employer should be financially supporting your bike commute. It will save them money, it’s better for your health, and it's better for the climate. NEMO is a path to start undoing decades of poor habit-formation that employers have inadvertently sponsored.

Can I add additional bicycles to my Membership?

Yes! You can add additional standard bikes and cargo bikes during checkout.

Can I sign up as an individual?

Does NEMO do tune ups?

Yes. For Members, we will come perform a free assessment and from there schedule and quote a full tune up if it’s needed. During the free assessment we may be able to get your bike into great shape without needing to book a full overhaul.

Does NEMO sell bikes?

No, but we can help you pick one out! And we will come to your house and build it for $60 (or $100 for e-bikes).

What are the Member discounts and benefits?

Members qualify for exclusive discounts on the hand-picked accessories on our online shop. Additionally, we often run exclusive sales in our Member newsletter.
